A print of “Poppy Field” by Claude Monet on your wall
The red of poppies against green and blue is one of the most joyful combinations in painting. A Poppy Field print evokes the scent of summer and suits rustic, country and eco interiors perfectly - with wood, wicker and linen. This Monet painting is also graceful living room wall art for a white and grey scheme that lacks a bold accent of colour. The horizontal crop of the original positively asks for a panorama above the sofa or as bedroom wall art above the bed, and as wallpaper the landscape turns a whole wall into a flowering meadow. Printing on Dibond renders the lightness of the Impressionist dabs well, while 5 mm acrylic glass saturates the red to the limit. Wall art that also works in a dining room and a home office. You set the width and height yourself - artMonte prints in any size entered in the configurator.

Poppy Field
About the artwork
Two pairs of figures - a woman with a parasol and a child - walk through a meadow scattered with red poppies, their path marking a gentle diagonal through the composition. Claude Monet painted the picture in 1873, building it from patches of colour rather than outlines. The poppies are loose dabs of red that only resolve into a flowering field from a distance. The canvas, shown at the first Impressionist exhibition, is today among the most treasured works of the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
