Shell wallpaper

Shell wallpaper is a thick vinyl material on non-woven backing of 290 g/m² with a fine-grained surface texture - it resembles delicately sand-textured plaster. The texture scatters the light, so the image is matt from every angle, and minor imperfections and cracks in the wall disappear underneath it without filling.

The material holds a fire certificate in class C-s2,d0, is washable (mild detergent, damp cloth) and is intended for interiors: living room, bedroom, hallway, commercial premises. It is hung like a classic non-woven wallpaper - paste on the wall, dry strips onto the paste. Formats up to 750 × 350 cm; in the configurator you enter the dimensions of your wall and immediately see which part of the artwork will land on it.

Who it is for

Shell wallpaper is the solution for walls that are not perfect: the fine-grained texture hides plaster imperfections, traces of renovation and minor scratches, and the matt surface does not reflect light from the window or the lamps. It looks good with landscapes, city scenes and artworks with soft tonal transitions. For the living room, bedroom, hallway and, thanks to its washability, also the kitchen (outside the direct splash zone) and commercial premises.

Hanging and care

The wallpaper has a non-woven backing: you apply the paste (a high-performance PVA or paste for non-woven wallpaper) to the wall and hang the dry strips. Paste is not part of the set - you can buy it at any paint shop. The material does not shrink as it dries, the joins stay invisible, and we print with a margin for trimming at the skirting. Light marks come off with a mild detergent and a damp cloth, in vertical strokes, without scrubbing; do not use bleach.

Printing and durability

Vinyl material on non-woven backing of 290 g/m² with a fine-grained texture, printed with latex or UV inks - odourless, safe in living spaces. Fire certificate in class C-s2,d0. Fade-resistant and washable colours. In the configurator you enter the dimensions of your wall, we divide the artwork into strips and ship it in a tube with hanging instructions.
