A print of “Vitruvian Man” by Leonardo da Vinci on your wall
Line, proportion, geometry - the Vitruvian Man is a drawing that belongs wherever thinking is precise. A Vitruvian Man print in sepia and the creamy tones of paper looks superb in the consulting room of a doctor, architect or engineer, but also in a home office and a physiotherapy practice. Leonardo da Vinci planned the picture - or rather the drawing - on a vertical sheet, which you can order in the classic format or crop to a square containing just the circle. In an industrial loft with concrete and black steel, Dibond emphasises the graphic character, while 5 mm acrylic glass adds a modern sheen. As wall art above a desk it is a reminder of curiosity about the world; as wallpaper it turns a wall into a page from a genius's notebook. You choose the size: enter any dimensions in the artMonte configurator and we will print Leonardo to the centimetre.

About the artwork
The Vitruvian Man is a pen-and-ink drawing of a nude male figure in two superimposed poses, inscribed simultaneously in a circle and a square. Leonardo da Vinci made it around 1490 to illustrate the proportions of the human body described by the Roman architect Vitruvius, writing the accompanying text in his characteristic mirror script. The sheet, held in the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice, unites art with mathematics and anatomy. It has become a symbol of Renaissance humanism and of faith in knowledge.
