A print of “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” by Katsushika Hokusai on your wall
Hokusai's The Great Wave off Kanagawa is Japan's most recognisable print and one of the most reproduced images in the world. The foaming wave, the tiny boats and a serene Fuji in the background - a minimalist composition in Prussian blue that fits perfectly into modern, Scandinavian and Japandi interiors. We print it in high resolution, preserving the texture of the woodblock. In a panoramic format above a sofa or bed it makes the greatest impression; as wallpaper it turns a wall into the ocean. Japanese ukiyo-e art in your home, ready to hang.

About the artwork
The opening print of Hokusai's series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, The Great Wave freezes a mighty, claw-tipped wave at the instant before it crashes down on three fishing boats. A tiny Mount Fuji sits calmly in the distance, dwarfed by the sea. Printed with what was then a new pigment - Prussian blue - it is the most famous work of Japanese art and one of the foundations of modern graphic design.
