A print of “Lady Lilith” by Dante Gabriel Rossetti on your wall
A cascade of golden hair, the snowy white of the gown and roses scattered in warm half-shade - Lady Lilith turns any wall into a scene from a Victorian boudoir. A print of Lady Lilith was made for interiors where sensuality counts: a bedroom with an upholstered headboard, a dressing room with a vanity table, an English-style living room with pale wallpapers and cream sofas. For a beauty salon or a hairdresser's it is hard to find a more fitting motif than a woman with a comb in her hand. We recommend an almost square crop, from 60 cm upwards, so the features of the face come through fully. Dibond gives a noble, matt surface like in a gallery; 5 mm acrylic glass adds a mirror-like shine that goes beautifully with the subject. A Rossetti painting in the bedroom is also a romantic gift with a story. Just enter the dimensions in the artMonte configurator - the print is made exactly for your wall.

Lady Lilith
About the artwork
Lilith, by tradition Adam's first wife, combs her long hair before a hand mirror, indifferent to everything but her own reflection. She is surrounded by white roses and poppies - the flowers of sensuality and oblivion - and a garden is reflected in the mirror on the wall. Rossetti painted the picture in 1866-1868 for Frederick Leyland, and a few years later repainted the face, replacing the features of Fanny Cornforth with those of Alexa Wilding. The canvas is accompanied by the sonnet "Body's Beauty" on the beauty of the body.
