A print of “Pimpernel” by William Morris on your wall
Pimpernel is Morris at his most sensual: undulating leaves, fleshy flowers and a rhythm that soothes. This botanical pattern was conceived as a wallpaper, so it works best at large scale - as patterned wallpaper across an entire wall in a dining room, bedroom or hall. A Pimpernel print brings English style and the atmosphere of a country house of the Arts and Crafts era into an interior. Olive and sage greens combine with linen, oak, a wicker lamp and ceramics. William Morris wall art in a square or horizontal crop makes an elegant panel above a chest of drawers, and as a panorama a striking headboard. On Dibond it becomes a matt, fabric-like panel; 5 mm acrylic glass gives depth and sheen. Enter the dimensions of your wall or frame in the artMonte configurator.

About the artwork
A wallpaper pattern of 1876, hand-printed from wooden blocks. William Morris built it from symmetrical, undulating stems and large flowers, among which appear the small flowers of the pimpernel. The dense, multi-layered composition creates the impression of a lush, green thicket. According to tradition the wallpaper adorned the dining room of Morris's house in Hammersmith. It is a classic example of the Arts and Crafts movement, which restored the value of craftsmanship and natural motifs.
