A print of “Brother Rabbit” by William Morris on your wall
Rabbits, birds and twigs in a navy setting - Brother Rabbit is Morris with a twinkle in his eye. This botanical pattern with an animal motif has won the hearts of designers of children's rooms, but looks just as good in a kitchen, dining room and country house. A Brother Rabbit print as wallpaper or patterned wallpaper gives an interior English style in a warm, family guise. Indigo and cream combine with white, pine, striped linen and ceramics in shades of blue. William Morris wall art in a square crop looks like a piece of an embroidered cushion, and in a horizontal format works above a child's bed. On Dibond it becomes a durable, easy-to-clean panel; 5 mm acrylic glass emphasises the depth of the navy. A piece of Arts and Crafts for the whole family. Enter the size in the artMonte configurator.

About the artwork
The pattern of 1882, block-printed on indigo-dyed cotton, was made in Morris's workshops at Merton Abbey. In a symmetrical repeat composed of leaves and twigs appear pairs of rabbits and birds. The design refers to the character of Brer Rabbit from the American Uncle Remus stories, which Morris read with his family. It is one of the artist's best-loved patterns, combining wit with the discipline of old medieval textiles.
