A print of “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo da Vinci on your wall
Is there a more recognisable painting? The Mona Lisa in your interior is a statement: classics are valued here. Leonardo da Vinci built the picture from warm browns, olive greens and honeyed light, so a Mona Lisa print pairs beautifully with dark wood, leather and brass - ideal wall art for a study, a home library or an elegant hallway. The vertical format lets you hang it in a narrow alcove or above a chest of drawers, and in a large size it becomes the focal point of the living room. On Dibond it gains a refined, museum-like matt finish; on 5 mm acrylic glass a depth in which the sfumato seems even softer. The bold can order wallpaper cropped to the face alone and see that mysterious smile at the scale of a whole wall. The artMonte configurator accepts any dimensions - enter the width and height and we will take care of the rest.

About the artwork
The Mona Lisa is a portrait of a woman seated before a misty, expansive landscape, her hands resting calmly on the arm of a chair. Leonardo da Vinci painted it on a poplar panel around 1503-1506, using sfumato - soft transitions of light and shade that give the face its elusive expression. The famous half-smile has provoked new interpretations for centuries. The painting, held in the Louvre in Paris, has become the most recognisable work of European painting and a symbol of the Renaissance ideal of the portrait.
