A print of “The Port of Saint-Tropez” by Paul Signac on your wall
The sun of the Côte d'Azur broken into thousands of coloured dots - The Port of Saint-Tropez is a painting that literally radiates colour. Paul Signac built the picture from a mosaic of pure colours, which is why a print of The Port of Saint-Tropez works like a window onto the Riviera in any interior. Turquoise, azure, orange and pink enliven a Mediterranean-style living room, a modern dining room, a summer house or a study in need of a little energy. The palette pairs well with white, sandy beige and blue accessories. The slightly horizontal crop of the original takes stretching into a panorama well, and the decorative structure of dots also works as wallpaper or a striking feature wall. On 5 mm acrylic glass the colours take on a glassy intensity, and Dibond emphasises their matt, pastel freshness. Wall art full of holiday light. Enter any dimensions in the artMonte configurator and order a made-to-measure print.

The Port of Saint-Tropez
About the artwork
Colourful sailing boats are moored at the quay, and the water, sky and facades of the houses are built from small, rectangular touches of pure colour that form a kind of mosaic. Signac, the leading theorist of Neo-Impressionism, settled in Saint-Tropez in 1892 and painted its harbour many times. The canvas of 1901 shows the mature phase of his Divisionism, in which the scientific principles of colour mixing give way to ever greater freedom and decorativeness, anticipating the painting of the Fauves.
