A print of “Water Lilies (1906)” by Claude Monet on your wall
The surface of the water, reflections of clouds and floating lilies can now be brought onto your own wall. Water Lilies of 1906 is a Claude Monet painting with an almost square crop, which works where a classic rectangle does not fit - above a bed, in a bathroom, in a relaxation area or in a therapy room. Cool blues, violets and greens with pink accents harmonise with white, grey, wood and ceramics. A Water Lilies print also looks great as wallpaper - enlarged, it creates the impression of being immersed in Monet's garden. On 5 mm acrylic glass the water gains depth and sheen, Dibond gives the motif museum-like refinement, and eco-friendly Dispa board works well for seasonal schemes. We will prepare wall art for a bedroom or living room in any size entered in the artMonte configurator.

Water Lilies (1906)
About the artwork
The surface of the pond at Giverny fills the entire canvas: clumps of lilies float on it, and the sky and the surrounding greenery are reflected in the water. Monet painted water lilies for nearly three decades, creating around 250 pictures, and this version of 1906 comes from a period of intense exploration. The absence of a horizon and of a landscape frame blurs the boundary between water and reflection. The cycle had an enormous influence on twentieth-century abstraction. The canvas is in the Art Institute of Chicago.
