A print of “Olive Trees with Yellow Sky and Sun” by Vincent van Gogh on your wall
The warm gold of the sky and the silvery greens of the olives form a palette that instantly evokes a Mediterranean afternoon. Olive Trees with Yellow Sky and Sun is the Van Gogh painting for lovers of kitchens and interiors in the Provencal, Tuscan and boho style. An Olive Trees print pairs well with terracotta, wicker, linen and olive-coloured fabrics, enlivening a dining room, an open-plan kitchen and living room or a home office. The horizontal crop is worth hanging above a table or sofa, and a wide panorama as wallpaper turns a wall into a view of the grove. On Dibond the motif retains an elegant matt finish, 5 mm acrylic glass adds brilliance to the sun, and PVC board works well in a restaurant or cafe. In the artMonte configurator you enter any dimensions and receive wall art made to measure.

Olive Trees with Yellow Sky and Sun
About the artwork
The twisted trunks of olive trees cast blue shadows on the ground, and above the grove glows a yellow sky with a huge disc of sun. Van Gogh painted the picture in November 1889 in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, where he created an entire series of olive groves. He treated these trees as a motif as important as the cypresses, seeing in them an expression of the permanence and spirituality of nature. Undulating, rhythmic brushstrokes give the landscape a vibrating movement. The canvas is in the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
