A print of “Two Young Girls at the Piano” by Pierre-Auguste Renoir on your wall
Music, friendship and the soft light of an afternoon - Two Young Girls at the Piano is a Renoir painting full of warmth and domestic harmony. Pinks, creams, reds and golden highlights suit classic interiors, rooms with a piano, music rooms and cosy libraries. A print of Two Young Girls at the Piano also makes graceful wall art for a bedroom or a daughter's room, and in music schools and rehearsal rooms it becomes a natural decoration. The vertical format of the original composes elegantly above a chest of drawers or an instrument, and a crop focused on the figures gives an intimate, almost square portrait. Dibond renders the pastel softness of Renoir's brush; 5 mm acrylic glass adds luminosity to the colours. As wallpaper the scene creates a wall with the mood of a Parisian salon. Order this wall art, also as living room art, in any size by entering the dimensions in the artMonte configurator.

Two Young Girls at the Piano
About the artwork
Two young girls bend over the sheet music - the fair-haired one sits at the instrument, while her dark-haired companion in a red dress leans on the piano and follows the score. Pierre-Auguste Renoir painted this scene in 1892 in several versions; one of them, purchased by the French state, was the first of his works to enter a public collection. The soft, warm palette and the intimate mood of a bourgeois interior reflect the artist's mature style. This version belongs to The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
