A print of “Honeysuckle” by William Morris on your wall
A garden enclosed in a frame - that is the simplest way to describe William Morris's Honeysuckle. This botanical pattern was born as a textile, but as patterned wallpaper or a panel on the wall it gains an entirely new life. A Honeysuckle print suits an English-style bedroom, a room with a fireplace, and a bathroom with a freestanding bath. Warm reds, ochres and muted greens get on well with walnut, brass, tartan fabrics and cream walls. As a single feature wall it creates a cosy backdrop, and in a square or horizontal format it becomes wall art above the sofa. Dibond emphasises the textile, matt character of the print; 5 mm acrylic glass adds depth to the colours. The quintessence of Arts and Crafts. Order any size in the artMonte configurator.

About the artwork
The pattern of 1876, block-printed on cotton, is among William Morris's richest textile designs. In it honeysuckle stems, tulips and other flowers intertwine, forming a dense, multicoloured web. Morris designed his textiles as an alternative to cheap industrial production, reaching for natural dyes and old techniques. Honeysuckle shows his mastery in building a repeating pattern that looks as free as a living garden.
