A print of “Tree of Life (Stoclet Frieze)” by Gustav Klimt on your wall
Hypnotic spirals, gold and fine ornament make the Tree of Life one of the most decorative motifs in the whole history of art. Gustav Klimt designed the picture as part of a frieze, so the composition naturally forms a tall vertical - perfect for a hallway, the space beside the stairs or a narrow wall in the living room. A Tree of Life print combines beautifully with black, bottle green, mustard and brass, and in glamour and Art Deco interiors it looks like part of the original decor. As wallpaper or a repeating pattern across an entire wall it gives the effect of luxurious Art Nouveau wallpaper. On 5 mm acrylic glass the golden curls shine, and Dibond gives them a refined, matt texture. Wall art for a bedroom, study and dining room. In the artMonte configurator you give your own dimensions and we prepare a print fitted to the centimetre.

Tree of Life (Stoclet Frieze)
About the artwork
Spiralling branches unfurl symmetrically from the trunk, creating a golden ornament at whose centre sits a black bird. The composition is the design cartoon for the mosaic frieze in the dining room of the Stoclet Palace in Brussels, executed by the Wiener Werkstätte in marble, enamel and gold. The Tree of Life, uniting the motifs of heaven and earth, is among the most mature works of Klimt's golden period and a model example of the Art Nouveau idea of the total work of art, in which painting becomes part of architecture.
