A print of “Beech Forest I” by Gustav Klimt on your wall
If you are looking for a calm, natural motif that also has artistic class, Beech Forest I will be a fitting choice. The rhythm of the trunks and the autumn shades of rust, honey and olive suit Japandi, boho and rustic interiors perfectly, as well as living rooms with wood, linen and ceramics. This print of Beech Forest I is wall art that soothes - which is why it works well in a bedroom, a reading room and a study, where it aids concentration. Klimt painted the picture as a square, so a square crop is the most natural, but the forest motif also looks great as full-wall wallpaper, creating the effect of stepping in among the trees. Dibond emphasises the soft, painterly texture, and 5 mm acrylic glass deepens the colours of autumn. Order it in exactly the size you need - just enter the dimensions in the artMonte configurator.

Beech Forest I
About the artwork
Slender beech trunks rise from a carpet of russet leaves, and the dense rhythm of verticals fills almost the entire canvas, leaving only scraps of sky showing through. Klimt painted landscapes mainly during his summer stays on Lake Attersee and readily chose a square format for them, which gave nature a decorative, almost ornamental character. Beech Forest I of 1902 shows how the Art Nouveau painter translated the observation of nature into a flat, rhythmic structure akin to a textile.
